Me including several other IT students were handpicked to take upon a pre-employment traineeship programme with 21CS, gaining an insight many IT concepts; these skills are in areas such as software architectures (Standalone, Client-server, N-Tier), device & configurations, programming languages, DBMS and a variety of other areas within IT. I have also gained an understanding of the use of ConnectWise Manage to manage tickets and to stay on top of the companies SLA. This position also taught me universal skills which are needed in any job role, such as adaptability to a new environment of work, working well within a team, having good work ethic and self-management.

I attended Highgate Wood Secondary School, where I laid the foundation for my passion in analytical and technical subjects. Excelling in Maths and Science, I consistently achieved top grades, driven by my curiosity for problem-solving and understanding how things work. My teachers recognized my ability to grasp complex concepts quickly, often leading me to participate in advanced coursework and school competitions.

These subjects weren’t just academic strengths—they shaped my logical thinking and attention to detail, skills that later fueled my interest in IT. Whether it was solving equations, conducting experiments, or collaborating on group projects, Highgate Wood nurtured my confidence in tackling challenges head-on. This early success reinforced my decision to pursue a career in technology, where precision and innovation go hand in hand.

I pursued my passion for technology through the BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma in IT, where I developed a robust skill set in software development, networking, and system design. Excelling in both coursework and practical projects, I consistently earned Distinction-level grades, reflecting my dedication and technical proficiency. My ability to troubleshoot complex problems, write efficient code, and collaborate on team-based IT solutions set me apart as a high-performing student.

Key projects included building functional applications, configuring secure networks, and analyzing system requirements—each reinforcing my hands-on expertise. Teachers often highlighted my strong analytical mindset and adaptability when working with emerging technologies. This qualification didn’t just teach me IT fundamentals; it proved my capability to thrive in fast-paced, real-world tech environments—preparing me for the next step in my career.
